What is Trending Memecoins?
Trending memecoins are ranked by a composite score of 24-hour aggregate market cap change, 24-hour volume, social mindshare delta, and funding rate delta on constituent tokens with perps. Sharpe computes the score for each of the 15 tracked memecoin narratives (Dog, Cat, Frog, AI, Political, Solana, Base, etc.) and for individual tokens within them. The top-ranked narratives and tokens are where retail attention and capital are concentrating right now.
How to use trending memecoins
Use trending for two workflows. First, rotation detection: scan twice-daily to see which narratives entered or exited the top 5. Narratives hitting top 5 for the first time in a week are fresh rotations worth attention. Second, token selection: drill into a trending narrative to see which specific tokens are driving the move. Leaders (top 3 by performance within the narrative) historically show the highest 7-day returns but also the highest drawdowns on reversal.
